The fully funded program is completely free to participate in.
It is generously supported by the Tasmanian building and construction industry training board, Keystone Tasmania.
An apprenticeship or traineeship is a great way to pursue a career in the building and construction industry via a structured pathway. An apprenticeship typically occurs after finishing school and combines on the job training with an employer with a formal study arrangement with TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
There are options to begin an Australian School-based Apprenticeship (ASbAs) during or at the completion of youthBuild.
Available while you work towards finishing schooling your school-based apprenticeship is a timetabled learning program structured around attendance at school, TasTAFE, or other RTO, and paid time on the job with an employer.
The minimum age a student can enrol in an apprenticeship or traineeship is 15 years. Under these pathways, students will be earning a nationally recognised qualification. improving employability and the opportunity to earn an income in an ever-growing industry.
